The Mounties lost 4-3 to Western Boone Tuesday. Macie Shirk had 3 hits and drove in a run. Chelsea Veatch had 2 hits. Elizabeth Conkright and Anna Stokes drove@in the other 2 runs. The Mounties travel to North Montgomery Thursday.

Southmont’s game with Parke Heritage tonight has been postponed due to the weather. The Mounties travel to Frankfort tomorrow. Game time tomorrow is 6 pm.

Southmont defeated Covington 12-2 Monday night for its 5th win in a row. Dara Watson hit her 5th and 6th homers of the season. One was a grand slam. Kyndale Rice pitched a complete game 3-hitter and had 3 hits herself. The Mounties host CRAWFORDSVILLE Tuesday at 5:30 pm

Southmont lost to North Putnam Monday 16-0. The Mounties had only 4 hits. Jenna Grino, Dara Watson, Kyndale Rice and Kami Dinius all had singles. The Mounties travel to Lebanon Tuesday.

Southmont walks it off for a 10-9 win over Clinton Prairie Friday. Anna Stokes did the honors with a blast over the left fielder allowing Kenzie Douglas to score the winning run. Kaylee Turner executed a perfect squeeze bunt a play earlier, scoring Jayden Dagley to tie the game.

Southmont lost a pair to Danville tonight 9-2 and 4-3, dropping their season record to 11-6. In the two games, Ella Barry led the offense with three hits, including a home run. Mallory Mason had 2 hits. The Mounties return home Friday as they host Clinton Central.

Southmont lost to South Putnam 2-0 in a hard fought Sectional contest Tuesday. Anna Stokes had the Mounties’ only hit. Ella Barry pitched a 6-hitter, struck out 7 and allowed only one earned run. Southmont finishes 15-10.
