Reluctantly optimistic hearing fr a few people I know that r being recruited by Department of Government Efficiency for appointments at government agencies generally lacking in tech literacy. In some cases, sticking a smart engineer in a spot normally taken by a career bureaucrat has real potential for good
Department of Government Efficiency has the potential to attract incredible talent. I’ve heard from very talented people that want to serve so not surprised to hear of them snatching up good people. Getting engineers and builders into government will go a long way.
