Been working on this longknife, based on one of the many impressive knife and sheath finds from Valsgärde. Gotta say... this was a lot of rivet-work... Both the handle and sheath are heavily studded. It really catches the light and the eye.

Working away on a sword blade commission! 5-piece construction core with an alternating interrupted twist pattern, surrounded by a 620 layer edge steel.

Sometimes, you need to make yourself some cute hammers for those finer projects. However, for cutting grooves like this, for letter inlay, it's a strong chisel and a medium hammer that does the trick.

Blades is so damn pretty...

Since I saw Shardgate SG-1 🦖☢️ post some good old sample of her very lovely Dovahkiin Blades, I thought I'd post the one I made as well^^ Mr Crab just discovered a new religion.

Never written a post like this... But I'm shaking and panicing right now. I've probably botched the sword commission I was working on. That was a deal that would have brought me enough income to get me through this month and then some. Now I don't know what to do and I'm scared.

Still making swords! Apparently, making text inlays in blades is hella tricky! Who would've thunk!? These are attempt nr 2 at a two blade order. Gotten much better at it since I started. The text is made to look like the original these two are based on. Imperfections included.
