Stuck with a defective new build and spiralling legal costs. Sign off is meaningless and warranties are worthless. https://t.co/GEQvmDskO3

Dan Bruce Skills issue *and* profit-driven value engineering.

Contracts will always go to the lowest bidder. What could possibly go wrong...

This is exactly what is being proposed.

We need more houses but scaling up building, especially apartment blocks, with the current skill issues in building is going to be catastrophic.

UK housing is on a rapid downward trajectory.

We need Keir Starmer, Matthew Pennycook MP, Sadiq Khan, Angela Rayner 🌹 to demonstrate they understand the gravity of the situation.

We can’t fix it if we’re not honest with the voters about how flawed it is.

Dan would be a great sounding board for any future government when considering changes to planning, housebuilding and the considerations that need to be made.

Dan Bruce It is pathetic. The Mayor's Press Office aren't even checking quotes... The vast majority of London shared owners live in flats 🙄

As for the Mayor's record on shared owners trapped in the building safety crisis, we know he prefers to look away.

I’ll be a pensioner by the time the issues at Agar Grove are resolved.

Shall I schedule us a coffee to discuss in 2049 Keir Starmer? 😉

Both candidates have wholly failed to grasp the crises London faces.

E.g. We're suffering a large-scale building safety crisis and many new builds are dangerously defective.

This is a shameful battle for power rather than a battle for Londoners.

I've never met someone who lives on PIP benefits an average of less than £50 a week who has any kind of extravagance.

But there are dozens of MP's claiming £1000 a week to pay their rent, or £3000+ to pay their energy bills.

Then they get £94k a year salary as well.

It’s time Keir Starmer speak up.

As the self proclaimed leader of the party of home ownership, he won’t get far if he doesn’t understand the fundamental flaws in UK new builds.

Scaling shoddy workmanship up will just ruin more lives.

Come on Keir, fight for fairness.

I’ve written to Oliver Dowden about the government failing to meet the ministerial code requirement for transparency about David Cameron possibly being recused from aspects of his work due to financial interests.
