Since Zcash launch in 2016 the UX has been rough. Even Ledger only fixed its ZEC issues this summer. Zashi / Near Intents greatly streamlined things, and all without needing a CEX. It's a big deal, worth seeing for yourself.

x402 is blowing up now, been working on some projects that implement it. I know it sounds cliche but we’re still mad early, I estimate <1000 devs experimenting meanwhile institutional adoption has skyrocketed unlike anything I’ve seen x402scan.com

Been semi-obsessed and building stuff with x402 last couple months but didn’t buy any related tokens 😬😭 knowledge is up only tho amirite

elizaOS team is cooking on x402 non-stop as apart of our upcoming Eliza Cloud launch. You will be able to ship agents into a ERC-8004 swarm, with our hosted trust layer, powered by MCP x402 plugins. Alongside our first in-house API key system and container deployments for CLI.

Tinkering with Privacy Cash SDK to see if I can build a privacy-preserving x402 service. Got rid of the need for a facilitator, now working on reducing metadata correlation github.com/Privacy-Cash/p…

those conflating privacy with petty crime and being fringe online edgelords are idiots all you're doing is making the feds' case stronger for them privacy is fundamentally about freedom, choice, and the individual TAM for freedom > TAM for crime

The local models are actually good, and hardware is catching up. An off-the-shelf system with 128gb memory that can run the big LLM models now costs ~$2k (look up Ryzen Al Max+ 395 mini PCs). Last year it woulda cost $6k, 6 months ago ~$4k

Agree, the small models with tool calling are very good when used for search, transcriptions, and summarization, but do require learning to configure properly The cost for running bigger LLMs locally keeps dropping like 50% every 6 months as the models keep getting better too
