This short film by the talented Daniel Daniel is entirely in Yiddish. I translated the script from the original English and worked with the actors who are not native speakers, but did an incredible job nevertheless. The full film is not out yet, but you can see the trailer here.

Great review of a film I worked on. Director Daniel Daniel asked me to adapt his script for a horror film into Yiddish. The film is set in an imagined shtetl, perhaps in Ukraine, sometime in the mid-18th century, close to the emergence of chassidism. 1/ forward.com/yiddish-world/…
