The average #psychologist is a 50 year old, able-bodied White woman. Anyone out there who does not fit this description? We need YOU!

The UCLA Psych Clinic is offering FREE therapy to BIPOC youth thanks to a generous grant from the Nicholas Endowment and we have open spots RIGHT NOW! Children/families need to be located in California. Not a study, no session limits, just evidence-based therapy.

Presented my research with Maryam Kia-Keating on ethno-racial trauma & mindfulness approaches in Latinxs at the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma’s International Summit. Received the NPEIV Founders Award & was interviewed for the EPIC Voices podcast. It was really cool🤓.

It’s competitive out there. A few simple tips for those applying for #gradschool in clinical psych: (1) be yourself, (2) reach out with a gentle introduction, (3) spend time explaining why you and your potential advisor are a good match. (1/2)
