Props to everyone who supported this all the way from a 200-seat studio Crucible Theatre to the West End Theatre Royal Haymkt via the excellent Lyric Hammersmith Theatre and with the amazing support of Playful Productions to sit alongside these nominees Olivier Awards - a true underdog story. What a team!
Fight ON flight. ✈️
Excited to get stuck into this brilliant play by Oli Forsyth later this year - and honoured to be in David Byrne ‘s inaugural season Royal Court
Congratulations to Accidental Death of an Anarchist on your 'Best Play' nomination 👏
Thank you to the fantastic young people who nominated several Playful shows for #BOLTawards2024 .

Thanks Time Out Theatre and well done Team Anarchist - we’re in very lovely company here.
The Vortex opened for the first time at Hampstead Everyman Theatre today in 1924. A lesser performed play, it's recent revival by Daniel Raggett at Chichester Festival Theatre proved just how pertinent it is to our lives today.

Chuffed to the hilt! Thank you everyone who was involved with making the show. Shane David-Joseph Tony Gardner 💙 Jordan Metcalfe, Howard Ward, Ruby Thomas! Annie May Fletcher Anna Reid Jai Morjaria Daniel Raggett Tom Basden. Everyone Crucible Theatre and Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. Legends all.
This is pure brilliance. An astonishing performance by @DanielRigby and super slick direction from @DanielTNRaggett. Get a ticket and go! #AnarchistWestEnd
Depressingly, we’ve had to update the statistic in Accidental Death of an Anarchist again. Total number of deaths in custody or following contact with police in England & Wales since 1990 is now 1853. That’s 29 deaths since the Sheffield run 10 months ago and 8 deaths since this Haymarket run.
The Vortex Chichester Festival Theatre was eight years in the making and worth every minute. An extraordinary company, who gave their all, led by Lia Williams and Joshua James - brave and breathtaking at the heart of it. A rare thing and after only 23 performances I’m not ready to say goodbye.
A double treat tonight Chichester Festival Theatre - first a dazzling talk from Noel Coward’s biographer Oliver Soden & then Daniel Raggett’s electric production of The Vortex - cocktails & laughter & love & lust & heartache & self-destruction: Coward meets Ibsen, & beautifully played - 5 stars!
