Having fun building LoaScopes. Thanks to our collaborators: Gates Foundation, Global Health Labs and CCG #LoaScopes

Excited to have our latest work out today in Cell, an incredible collaboration between Cigall Kadoch @Kadochlab @Brangwynnelab Amy Strom Ajinkya Patil. We dissect the many roles of ARID1A in BAF complex function! cell.com/cell/fulltext/…

Congrats to Chang for a truly heroic effort in his first first author paper! Lots of elegant optogenetic experiments and beautiful microscopy, and it's always fun to venture into the cytoplasm with David W. Sanders!!

If you are at #cellbio2023, check out the work from some of our lab members. Caitlin Cornell Daniel SW Lee Deepak Krishnamurthy

Just landed in Boston for #ascb2023! I'll be talking about my work in Fletcher Lab characterizing the biophysics of the cell surface, Caitlin Cornell about macrophage trogocytosis, and Deepak Krishnamurthy about a new cellular adhesion assay-can't wait to see old and new friends!

Excited to see beautiful manuscript led by Ushnish Rana & Kevin w @iAmAllAdhesion Mack Walls Jose L. Avalos & AZP out in Nature Chemistry (...after 5 mo. copyediting :( rdcu.be/dzddw Also see related co-submission by Matthew C. Good & Jeetain Mittal rdcu.be/dxP4r

Congratulations to María and Amanda (Amanda Isabel Meriwether) for their doctoral hooding ceremony!

Wonderful ceremony this afternoon with yoonji kim and Mack Walls who I had the honor of hooding today at the PhD graduation. Congratulations Dr. Kim and Dr. Walls!

Check out this new article from New Scientist by Karmela Padavic-Callaghan (they/them) that describes some of the discoveries found in Influenza A viruses. Great job Siddhansh Agarwal! newscientist.com/article/245352…

Excited to share that the first paper of my PhD work in brangwynnelab is out! In this work Nature Communications, we focus on how condensates in the cell nucleus respond to mechanical deformation during cell confined migration, a process involved in cancer cell metastasis. (1/3)

I am excited to share that the project that taught me how to do science is now published at Journal of Cell Biology Journal of Cell Biology.

Our squid primary cell isolation protocol is now out in STAR Protocols ⭐️🦑🧫This protocol enables molecular studies of cephalopod biology, aging, and basic cell physiology. Thanks to brangwynnelab Hailey Tanner Josh Rosenthal check it out here tinyurl.com/3knvkhyh 🤩
