Nano Banana brings my concept for a high tech "super buggy" to life. Convinced this could become a ridiculous parenting trend in SF, etc, with a little pushing #superbuggy #aidepictiosn

How I use Claude Code for "sysadmin" stuff (really local admin). Endless little tasks, like pipewire edits, that now take seconds. The biggest change: for most objectives, CC is now the easiest and most reliable path to success.

The contention I keep making: we're a critical mass away from AI CLIs being embraced for desktop administration. Especially with sandboxing and guardrails, the distinction between "for code gen" and "for working on systems" is arbitrary and needless...

Created with AI Studio Builder: AI Notes & Sketch Enhancer: provide your scrawled envelope drawings and Nano Banana will colorise (optionally) and enhance clarity so other people can actually read them! Google AI Studio #miniapps

Before and after for the Nano Banana tool! What's noteworthy is the relative lack of pseudotext (Hebrew is still pretty woeful but English is getting there finally!)

Had some fun getting Claude Code to run some analysis on OpenRouter API costs for tool-capable models specifically. Stratified the 218 models in that bracket into a quadrant (by context window and cost). That's Grok 4 fast on the far right (2M tokens, very cheap!) #agenticai

Why I think Claude Code et al are hugely underrated for desktop maintenance pt 10: you can run little sanity checks like this. Proactive maintenance, basically. But oddly, there's no good CLI for it.

Didn't think Web Summit would actually platform an anti-semite and open supporter of Israel's violent destruction but ... thanks for the tips! #websummit blog.danielrosehill.com/posts/web-summ…

Discovered a self service digital printer in my neighborhood and now I'm like a gambling fiend in a casino printing off family pics and... my Nano Banana creations. I figured this would be some nice wall art for the toilet

I think the trippiest instructions to write for AI agents is trying to figure out a way to tell them that they are basicallly a bot frozen in time and that, yup, it's 2025 and no, Biden is not still the president. Sometimes you have to be a bit firm! #aiagents #mcp

First imperssions last night of GPT 5.1 via Codex were pretty good I must say. I like Claude Code because of the whole structure that it brings (slashes, subagents). I'm now dependent on them. Otherwise I remain a fan of both! #agenticai #aicoding

Today's "getting value from Claude Code" creation: Hebrew calendar Plasma widget for KDE. Polls HebCal API and updates date based on settable geolocation at sundown. A few params for display presentation, but that's mostly it. #kde #kdeplasma

Created a fine-tune of OpenAI Whisper yesterday specifically for English sentences with smidgeons of Hebrew: what linguists called "code-switching". Significant WER boost! huggingface.co/blog/danielros… #stt #asr

Great read on The Register. In a space where takes on AI tend towards the margins of being either hyperbolic or the opposite, I found Linus's down to earth read a breath of fresh air!

I think I've found the real true calling of AI! "AI Dissects Life", ep 1, looks at the character of Jim in Rosie and Jim through a Freudian lens. Did we ever truly know Jim? bit.ly/48akY7l

Claude is an absolute beast for routine sysadmin. Among 100 pedestrian examples: hey, I bought a UPS, set up a NUT server. Task finished in 30 seconds. Use-cases: with Home Assistant, actually a handy workaround to get notified about power outages (UPS on, send notification)
