Today is #InternationalMissingChildrensDay. Children everywhere deserve to feel safe. Halifax_Police remind citizens if you have any information about a missing child, you can share your tips anonymously with Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-TIPS)

Another example of great work by Halifax_Police teams round the clock. Emergency Response & Quick Response Team members, supported by others, seized a number of dangerous items as part of this operation overnight and into this morning. Well done, all!

Today, we remember Cst. Charles R. Fulton who was shot and died in the line of duty while trying to apprehend a suspect on July 14, 1924, at the age of 28. He will never be forgotten for his service and for making the ultimate sacrifice. #LODD #NSFALLEN

Sept. 2 is the 25th anniversary of #Swissair111. We honour & remember the 229 people who lost their lives onboard & we salute the strength of hundreds of people, including first responders, who worked tirelessly in the recovery effort in the hours, days & weeks after the tragedy.
