I've been using Copilot for the past 2 days, and it's surprisingly effective. It helps with writing boilerplate, tests, and even provides ideas for solving more complex problems. Programming has become more enjoyable, allowing me to focus on higher-level tasks.

3. There's a very general problem in integrating events into apps: how do you keep your events and DB state in sync? Example: a user joins your service. You want to update some DB tables and publish a “user joined” event to Kafka to let the rest of the org react, what do you do?

microservices arent for scale, they're for humans. people don't like to share their pet gardens, follow other people's conventions, work on someone else's code, use a language they don't like. microservices allow everyone to have greenfield work all the time.

“Voice assistants like Alexa are cool until they mess up and you’re left wondering why. It’d be way less frustrating if they could just tell us what went wrong or why they can’t do something. Knowing the issue would help us fix it and just make everything smoother.”
