What's the jet stream doing? 🌬️ Over the next 10 days, the southern branch of the jet looks to be rather active, sending fronts into the western South Island. During La Niña events, we tend to see the southern jet settle down in October-November, bringing more settled weather.

And curiously Denver can sometimes get their bigger snowfalls of the winter on these shoulder season outbreaks!
