I understand that language changes. But there are things creeping into sport & AFL in particular that drive me nuts! Reporters saying “you’ve won 5 on the bounce” Just say ‘in a row’ or you’re ‘on a roll’ Easy to say and easy to hear and actually makes sense. 🤦‍♂️

I’ve said it before. We need to change the way we report the road toll. Deaths is one thing. Also include the number of those with life changing injuries or who have been permanently disabled. Eg- the road toll to date is 157 dead and 3497 permanently disabled. Thoughts?

How on earth do people afford to go the footy these days? Looking at tickets to the AFL in Canberra to take my son who has a disability and our 13 year old daughter …3 seats. $218.50 You want to take them to see it live - but also, it’s way warmer on the couch 🤷🏻‍♂️
