You want to see the current paradoxical state of AI? Look at education. Incredibly high adoption & use. Disruption at the individual level. And yet most educational institutions lack clear policies & training, and haven’t even started thinking about what AI means for the future.

Benchmarks are mostly on coding and math and general knowledge. No one is benchmarking AI for its most common uses, like that people are relying on AI for psychological support and advice. Also ignoring higher order uses like creativity, learning, and strategy. So much missing.
