What did you accomplish this morning? Academy 56 had a quick structure ops drill. They performed rescues, laid hose-lines, threw ladders and forced entry into the structure. The rest of the day will be learning auto extrication and traffic accident safety. #vcfd

It took the tremendous skills & training of your LAFD 🔥 to battle this Major Emergency fire (1 of 3 in the City today!) in #Brentwood. We made a successful window ledge rescue & evacuated 15 residents from the roof by helicopter & confined the fire to 2 units.
