Primary Liver Cancer (PLC) is the second most common cause of cancer-related death worldwide. PLC has the fastest-rising incidence & mortality of all cancers in the United States. Hien Dang, PhD wants to learn more about liver cancer to help them design better treatments:

Last night Tester Construction Gives (TCG) hosted their inaugural benefit concert at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia. TGC is a nonprofit organization founded in memory of Kathleen K. Schoemaker. Nearly 300 people attended the event & raised $150,000 for #PancreaticCancer Jefferson Health.


The funds are going directly to the Jefferson Molecular Profiling of #PancreaticCancer (JMP PaC) Program Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center & will ensure that every Jefferson patient undergoing #PancreaticCancer surgery will have their tumor profiled regardless of insurance coverage.




Hien Dang, PhD, was one of 11 people awarded the prestigious National Cancer Institute' s Biden Cancer Moonshot Award, aimed at finding therapies for tough to treat cancers in patients who have been historically disadvantaged. nexus.jefferson.edu/science-and-te…
