When I saw Emily surreptitiously surveilling us at a pro-Palestinian demonstration in London, it took every ounce of my self-control to not hurl abuse at her.

But the Palestinian student organisers urged us to exercise restraint. So I respected their wishes.

I’m guessing the hidden part of this plan for a “New Gaza” will be to grant settler organisations exclusive “rights” to vast tracts of Palestinian land.

Israeli Occupation Forces stormed the Nasser family home in Birzeit to arrest Layan at 4:00 AM. Soldiers were violent and threatened the family. Needless to say they didn’t give any reasons nor did they say where was she taken. Layan’s mother is the head of our parish.
