#OnThisDay1981: “Have you noticed how exotic the humble crisp has become?” That’s Life took to the streets, armed with a cornucopia of “exotic” flavoured crisps. Would they pass the blind taste test?

Young men nowadays cannot even pursue herds of reindeer across the frigid steppes of Doggerland, defending their kills from ravenous hyenas and returning home to their tribe in triumph... because of woke.

Grew up watching this late at night. You'd watch it hoping to see an item about an Italian woman's boobs and instead you'd get stuff like an Austrian man who plays the alphorn with his backside and a visit to the Stuttgart Museum of Kacke or whatever.

There are three unusual prehistoric enclosures in the North York Moors, all oval, all connected to Bronze Age burial mounds... 🤔 The one on Great Ayton Moor connects to a Neolithic Passage Tomb (3000BC-ish), creating a bizarre spoon shaped monument 🥄 #archaeology #prehistory

One of the most famous prehistoric burials in Britain that has had multiple reconstructions. She had an unusually broad head, although her jawbone was not preserved, so we don't know what her lower face would have looked like.
