If you have adult kids who homeschool their kids, show your support by helping purchase supplies, curriculum or buy them a membership to their favorite museum. My parents did this for me and it was great! #homeschoolinglife

After 29 years of homeschooling it doesn’t surprise me that woke teachings are creeping into the curriculum. The older curriculum teaches better anyway. Avoid the shiny new things. It’s often a trap. Master Books & Generations are 2 companies I still trust.

If I hear you use Gods name in vain, I feel it’s fair to assume his name is not precious to you. I can tolerate hearing many curse words, but using God & Jesus as curse words literally makes my skin crawl. He’s my Creator & Savior & his name is holy !

Today is my pastors birthday. I sent him a text wishing him happy birthday. That’s a 1st for me. We came from a mega church where the pastor didn’t know who we were. I like being in a church where the pastor knows me. It’s important if you are truly going to shepherd your church.

My 13yr old son: “I learned a new word today. Auto-Didactic. “ Me: “ what does that mean & where did you learn it?” Son: It means “self-taught” & Charlie Kirk is where I learned it. Homeschooling helps me to be auto-didactic. #proudmom #homeschoolingworks

I would be more concerned if my pastor didn’t preach the Gospel than whether or not he mentioned Charlie Kirk yesterday That was Kirk’s message- that the gospel of salvation through Christ alone would be boldly and unashamedly declared.

I keep hearing young people say “I want to be like Charlie Kirk” and while it’s great to have a godly example to follow I think Charlie would say to those young people “No, you should want to be like Christ. That should be your aim.”

In school, I wasn’t taught how to think, I was taught what to think. I still struggle with asking questions & how to reason well. This is why my kids take at least one logic course in our homeschool. I’m raising people who can not just think, but think biblically.
