If remembering that two of us predicted Bristol City would finish 6th isn’t enough to view this season as a massive success then I don’t know what is. #ncfc Thanks to everyone’s who listened throughout the year. A fun one to end on.

Not really sure how I feel about Russell Martin. Talks a good game but is his CV that great? Finishing positions of 19th, 13th, 15th, 10th, 4th, and left Southampton bottom of the PL. When he took MK Dons to 13th, Liam Manning replaced him in the summer and took them to 3rd.

"Every Wednesday I play football, and then I go to the pub, where I will have four pints and a chicken basket. Do I warm down? I do not warm down. Do I train? Lol." Burst out laughing at Liew deciding to hang up the 5 a side boots. theguardian.com/football/2025/…

Has the same top three ever all scored centuries in the same innings twice? Because Pope is 15 runs from making it the second time him, Duckett and Crawley have done so.

There’s a just something about both Leeds and Sunderland - the size of their support, the history of the clubs, something intangible - that means I reckon at least one of them will stay up next season.
