One of the worst things about rewilding activists in Britain is their misanthropy. The Lake District is beautiful and cherished by the British people because it is a framed landscape as much as for its organic nature. The British countryside is manmade. theguardian.com/environment/20…

When we buy meat in supermarkets, we can see where it has come from, whether it is organic or not, and often the name of the farmer who reared the animal. It would be great if we could see the method of slaughter as well. Surely very simple.

We will not tolerate intimidation, violence or censorship. There will be no special treatment here for Islam. And there will be no surrender to the thugs who want to impose their beliefs and culture on the rest of us. Today I introduced my Bill to restore free speech:

At 35 weeks, your baby is fully formed. They can dream and are only two weeks away from being full-term, able to live outside the womb without any medical help. The debate about abortion is often fractious, but if you can't see this is murder, you are an extremist.

In my latest for The Telegraph I argue that repealing the Vagrancy Act and open borders could combine to create US-style tent cities. Instead of fake compassion, we should deport destitute foreigners and put those with problems into secure accommodation. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/1…

Completely insane. It will just worsen the situation in London with begging, petty crime, disorder, and the degradation of the public realm. It was always a stupid idea, but in 2025 with all the evidence at hand, from here and the US, it is inexcusable. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…

As ever my colleague Guy Dampier is in there with a piece in the The Telegraph. There are a few months to try and get the government to reverse. They are legalising professional criminals and beggars to squat and harass, most of whom should be deported. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/1…

Strong piece from my colleague Guy Dampier on repealing the Vagrancy Act Repeal would mean resignation, govt. admitting it is easier to decriminalise something than it is to stimulate real change outside the avenues of state power. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/1… Some thoughts 🧵1/6

The Spending Review (and any budget for that matter) should have a dedicated section explaining how much would be spent on reducing debt and how this would be done.

Emmanuel Igwe (@mannieigwe) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A simple stat: Current budget deficit (not debt) of £148 billion is 5.2% (from 4.8% in 23/24) of GDP and equivalent to around £2,188 per head (from £1,920) of the UK’s population.

We shouldn’t accept tent cities in central London. It should be illegal to make a public space your home. We should help the most vulnerable, not condone their situation. Guy Dampier is right, current laws are insufficient. Immigrants should have to pay their way.
