When we buy meat in supermarkets, we can see where it has come from, whether it is organic or not, and often the name of the farmer who reared the animal. It would be great if we could see the method of slaughter as well. Surely very simple.

The Spending Review (and any budget for that matter) should have a dedicated section explaining how much would be spent on reducing debt and how this would be done.

A simple stat: Current budget deficit (not debt) of £148 billion is 5.2% (from 4.8% in 23/24) of GDP and equivalent to around £2,188 per head (from £1,920) of the UK’s population.

We shouldn’t accept tent cities in central London. It should be illegal to make a public space your home. We should help the most vulnerable, not condone their situation. Guy Dampier is right, current laws are insufficient. Immigrants should have to pay their way.
