1237 days since the Taliban banned teenage girls from school. 777 days since the Taliban banned women from going to university. Afghanistan stands alone as the only country in the world systematically denying girls the freedom to learn.

It makes us feel comfortable because it doesn't stop at Domestic Violence or Neglect. The 70% SEND are kids with SEMH caused by the context they live in and we're not challenging the causes of that while we're neatly blaming schools.

Jon Lovett Government has a legitimate regulatory role to avoid medical malpractice. When you have suspect organisations like WPATH operating on ideology rather than evidence (see the Cass review etc) this role is essential. An unregulated free market can be extremely dangerous.

X is currently full of wealthy parents resisting VAT and people on PIP / parents getting DLA raving at the prospect of being employed in appropriate ways. I'm apparently the nemesis of both, just paying my taxes & shutting my face. Weird world.

Poor attachment, lack of boundaries & resilience & maternal mental health & possibly DV / being worried about mummy - are the reasons most younger children refuse to go to school. They don't hate school in the main, they're creating an ever growing list of why they shouldn't go.
