A relatively small sample of farmers with 57 votes but thanks to all who contributed. Frightening to see so many forecasting a shortage of forage at this point in the year. Will be discussing potential solutions over coming days.

Thankyou to all who voted in our maize poll. For the majority it looks like maize is well on track and potentially looking at a very early harvest for many. Have seen some very drought stressed crops last few days which is a concern if we see no significant rain in coming weeks

Finally some meaningful rain forecast over next few days. Hopefully this might boost both grass and maize which is looking extremely stressed locally
