#ElectiveRecovery representatives from all #WYAAT trusts met to develop and agree objectives for 2024. A busy year ahead, but the team are looking forward to working with system partners and patients to improve the services we offer to the communities we serve.

Professor Tim Briggs, Chair of Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) and NHS England's National Director for Clinical Improvement joined #WYAAT colleagues this week to review our #ElectiveRecovery programme, including our clinical networks, focusing on GIRFT guidance, key metrics and the year ahead.

Special shout out to #WYAAT's Geraldine Morris for giving a heart-felt speech to students at Heckmondwike Grammar School today about volunteering in the #NHS. Geraldine spent 11 years volunteering at Leeds Teaching Hospitals and says the experience was invaluable to both her professional and personal life.💙

Our #ElectiveRecovery team observed the 2nd #ENT super clinic at @Midyorks, where patients were seen by range of healthcare professionals including junior doctors, healthcare assistants and nurses. 58 patients were assessed in just one morning! #HospitalsWorkingTogether #WYAAT
