Taking Marcy Sutton Todd's A11y course and I am on the section about Design Systems. I was the Design System engineer at my last company and I took it as an opportunity to build with A11y in mind. I added A11y to our docs and made our components more accessible.

Saddest and most naive thing I heard from a designer when I was pushing for accessibility was that "accessible websites are ugly".

You are implementing a new technology at the company. What would be some reasons why you wouldn't allow someone to help with the implementation when the person had prior experience using the tool and also was a contributor to their open source projects?

I paid for the 24-hour emergency propane delivery with AmeriGas Propane. 4 days later, we still don't have propane. We have since run out. They refuse to refund me and they have no idea when they will have it delivered. No ice or snow in our town. What's their excuse?
