Check out our new collaborative paper, which presents an ecomechanical framework to understand the rules of life! Working with this amazing group of integrative biologists was such a pleasure, and special thanks to Tim Higham, @LaraFerry and U.S. National Science Foundation for making this possible.
Happy to contribute in another study leading by the amazing and talented Melissa E. Rodríguez regarding Neotropical leaf-tent making bats. So much more is needed to understand the ecology and evolution of this group of bats, as well as their interactions with plants.

Happy to share that one of the papers from my PhD at UW Biology Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture and the Santana lab Sharlene Santana published at Functional Ecology have been shortlisted for the Haldane Prize for early career researcher! Check other amazing works here ⬇️
Out in Environmental Conservation, I am pleased to share how bats are influenced by the establishment of a geothermal project. Studies like this help to keep energy projects accountable while giving us hope that things can be done properly. 👇🏼 dx.doi.org/10.1017/S03768…
