This hospital has the most insane process for recovery troubleshooting. Rather than contact the theatre the patient comes from, a trainee who's never met the patient before is called to come out of a list and solve the problem. Madness!

Anyone know why the requirements for PHEM training is ST4 for EM and ICM trainees, but competition of ST5 for anaesthetic trainees?

It's been one of those mornings when I remember why I love anaesthetics so much. Great team, patients just the right level of complexity, cracking music and the opportunity to use TIVA.
