It’s such a long time ago but when I did CITN in 2009/2010, I took weekend classes at a School somewhere in Abule Oja,Yaba. For ICSAN, I took classes for only CFM organised somewhere close to Elephant House at Alausa. I self studied for the 3 courses.
No it’s not exaggerated. I was in Owerri from December 1 to 13 last year. Once it’s 5:30pm, you’d literally see people running to their homes. I used to be able to go out and come home at 2am, now it’s impossible. There’s a silent curfew now, you can feel the tension in the air.
Certain areas in Imo and Anambra are fully deserted now, even Villages in the LGA of the current Governor of Imo State, are fully abandoned. Please no need to hide anything, let’s say it as it is. Imo and Anambra States are hotbeds of insecurity now.
Knowing about “Aria” was one of the benefits of the Unity School System. I had never been to Rivers State until I got admitted to FGGC Abuloma. I’m grateful for that experience, I hope that a time comes when we can explore Nigeria freely again and learn the wholesome Culture.
