Edwin Kurgat of Kenya won the men's elite race today at the #Carlsbad5000 in 13:47, just one second ahead of New Zealand's Matthew Baxter of HOKA NAZ Elite.

Mexico's Laura Galvan dominated the women's elite race at the #Carlsbad5000 today clocking 15:19. She also won the race last year.

USA steeplechaser Marissa Howard finished second in 15:39.

Whoa! Big PB for Darius Kipyego of Iowa State Track & XC at #HurricaneAlumniInvitational in #Miami today: 1:45.76. He's now tied for the #2 time in #NCAATF so far this season. That's his first sub-1:46.

Casey Greenwalt (posing with race mascot Stumpy) was the women's winner at this morning's Credit Union Cherry Blossom 5-K, the warm-up act before tomorrow's #CUCB2024 10-miler. Greenwalt clocked 18:14. Men's winner was Jonathan Ladson in 16:09. There were 6404 finishers.
