*Niche critter profile* I’ve just learnt about Pagurapseudidae, they are really cute little hermit crab like crustaceans live in gastropod shells 🐚. It’s a result of convergent evolution and they’re actually more closely related to isopods!

Happy World Oceans Day! As a bug person I don’t have a lot of marine themed arts, but for the ones I’ve occasionally done I really enjoyed creating them! Anyone want to see me doing more marine critters?

Centipedes are highly misunderstood creatures, so I’m really happy to hear multiple requests on drawing those beautiful danger noodles (leggy version)! Their “fangs” are actually a pair of modified legs, and those curly antennae are my favorite parts

“Shrimps is bugs” is a funny meme, but there’s some truth in the reverse version, “Bugs is shrimps” 🐛🦐 Since insects are literally a group of terrestrial crustacean. And among all the insects, bristletails are probably the most shrimp-like in my opinion!
