We had a great time during our Exploration Night! The kids learned more about earthworms and compared and contrasted them to gummy worms using magnifying lenses and a mini scope!

Our Cole garden club kids are participating in a “Out of this World Science Project” called Tomatoshere (tm). We received seed packets labeled “V” and “W” from the Space Seed Foundation. What a wonderful garden club meet day! We prepped the garden for the upcoming cold snap and harvested our veggies.

We had a great garden club meet day! The kids learned a little bit about square foot gardening, and learned a bit about electroculture. We then went to work on prepping our garden beds.

This past week our Cole Garden club kids, Kinder and 3rd-5th grade enjoyed a “painting in the garden” Saturday. It turned out to be a beautiful day with great weather. After we were done the kids and parents enjoyed some delicious donuts, and parents had some hot coffee too!

Project Acorn Showcase Another Successful year for #projectAcornShowcase! I am so proud of our kids! They did a fantastic job. We combined last year’s project, hydroponics and this year’s project tomatosphere science project. They did a fantastic job presenting!

We would like to thank everyone who helped make this reading event a success. From book donations to volunteering. A special thank you to Mrs. Hernandez, our librarian, for coming to the garden and creating a cozy spot for kids to listen to a good book.
