This heavy rain will lead to a flash flood threat across the region. The threat will be highest Thursday into Friday. Heavy rain will likely overwhelm drainage capacity leading to street flooding and some areas of flash flooding. (3/4)

9:14pm - widespread light/moderate rain continues w/ embedded storms. These storms could be strong with heavy rainfall, frequent intense lightning and gusty winds. After these storms dissipate, we should enter a bit of a lull in spots but we are forecasting more rain tomorrow.
