There's a type of " palatable" BIPOC woman that rise in advocacy. Especially with dark brown skin. We are not the monolith that was established before the pandemic. My easy going disposition is not to be weaponized against other POC with non Eurocentric communication styles.

For the past 2 months I housed a friend who was homeless from worsening long Covid. Having severe MCAS I knew that I'd likely react to something she ate or while making her home livable. A week ago anaphylaxis landed me in the ER. But she's now safe in her home. I'd do it again!

I will forever have PTSD from inpatient care at Sibley from July 2020 from how they treated me from my long Covid symptoms. The ER is just the beginning. The repeat trauma people with chronic illness are forced to be exposed to in an effort to get care is horrific.
