Second-Grade Writing is Sweet Second graders launched their how-to writing unit with indoor s’mores! After writing step-by-step directions, they invited Mr. Reents, Mrs. Williams and Dr. Potts to test them out—sweet success!

Our Warrior boys basketball team spent Saturday serving with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, helping build 55 bunk beds for children in need. Proud of our guys for working hard and serving with purpose. When we serve others, we serve God. To God be the glory!

Senior Artist Spotlight: Cailea Chalton Cailea is an outstanding artist and NAHS president who plans to study animation in college. She has earned top awards at TAPPS and the Houston Rodeo and continues to excel in AP Drawing. We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!

Students from the National Honor Society served at the Houston Food Bank, and through their hard work, 9,000 meals were packed for families in need. Thank you to every member who showed up with a heart to serve. Praise God, and go Warriors!

Sixth graders wrapped up their Egypt unit with a trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science! They watched an IMAX on mummies, toured the Hall of Ancient Egypt, explored King Tut’s Tomb Discovery Experience, and saw real artifacts up close. An unforgettable day of learning!

The CCS 4-H Archery team is off to a strong start! At the first two SYWAT tournaments, Ava and Jeykei earned first-place finishes, while Kyler and Travis placed second in their divisions. The team now prepares for more SYWAT events and Easton Scholarship shoots. Go Warriors!

Our New Testament students brought Scripture to life with creative skits, songs and raps based on the miracles and parables of Jesus! One student even wrote her own song, and another group reenacted the Feeding of the 5,000 with frozen fish. A fun and meaningful project!

As our elementary classes celebrated with Thanksgiving parties, the students in Mrs. Groll’s, Mrs. Knight’s and Mrs. Dziubarczyk’s classes decorated their Thankful Rocks and added them to the corner of the playground as a reminder of God’s daily blessings.

A Final Congratulations to Our Varsity Volleyball Team Our varsity volleyball team capped off an unforgettable season with a Final Four appearance at the TAPPS 5A State Tournament — a true testament to their determination, grit and heart.

Our elementary students packed 348 Operation Christmas Child boxes this year! Students filled boxes with gifts, wrote notes and prayed over each child who will receive one. After a special chapel prayer, the boxes were delivered to a center to be sent to children around the world

Congrats to Katelyn Bienko, our December Artist of the Month! Katelyn is a junior in AP Art and a member of the National Art Honor Society. Her portfolio explores nostalgic childhood moments, and her watercolor work is already stunning this year. We’re proud of you, Katelyn!

State Champions Return Home! 🏆 We caught up with Coach Dennis as the CCS Cheer Team returned to campus after an unforgettable run at the State Championship!

Our eighth graders enjoyed the Alley Theatre’s A Christmas Carol after studying Dickens’ classic in English class. A great day of theatre, lunch and celebrating the season together.
