i matched into DERMATOLOGY! i am also the FIRST black person (male or female), in the HISTORY of my medical school to do so. what a journey. i would not have made it here without God, my loving family, amazing friends and mentors. grateful is an understatement. 🤎🖤🤍

That’s my mentor! Even as a non-voting student, I urge everyone to go vote. Dr. Taylor is one of the most passionate, determined, and experienced individuals I have ever met. She leads by example. I can only imagine how well she would lead the AAD as President.

so proud of my mentee and fellow so-to-be Rutgers RWJMedSchool alum! when I matched into dermatology last year, I was the first black person to do so. now Christopher Wachuku becomes the 2nd (1st black man!). a harrowing truth. hopeful that by us doing it, others will know they can do it to. 🤎
