But remember it was going to buy 6,500 new teachers, breakfasts and affordable homes….The last time the UK had a government like this one was, the Sheriff of Nottingham was in it.

So Labour’s genius plan!! Destroy provision that costs the state £0, then dump thousands of kids onto already overstretched state schools. Taxpayers now left picking up a £1.2 million bill in Kent. You couldn’t make up this level of stupidity James Melville 🚜 Nigel Farage MP

#LanaBelliver James Melville 🚜 Nigel Farage MP Children's Commissioner for England are you EVER going to speak up loudly for ALL the children impacted by the spite tax? It raises nothing. We’re looking at the incoming impact on state schools & councils and it’s going to be catastrophic for kids outcomes. CME numbers will soar. DO SOMETHING!

In Nov '24, Bridget Phillipson called for an investigation into disparities between state & private sch's use of extra-time, claiming state schs were "disadvantaged". But rather than confirming BP's claim, Ofqual actually found the data used to make her assertion was wrong. Oops 😬

Turns out Ofcom and Labour was lying. Private school students are not more likely to receive extra time in exams. Just another example of how private school students have become casualties in Labour's class war, here shamelessly promoted by BBC. feweek.co.uk/ofqual-probe-f…

UK labour market continues to weaken under Labour. Unemployment hits four-year high at 4.7 per cent in the three months to May, highest since June 2021, a pandemic year. The number of workers on UK payrolls has fallen for five months in a row, falling by 41,000 in June alone,

Birmingham is already in a real mess with no rubbish collections and now has to find another £10m to fund school places - many from the 12 closed schools as a result of the VAT policy. My own council Bedford has a 670 school place shortage. No wonder these councils are bankrupt.

If you’re not sure who to support, ask yourself who would deliver lifesaving treatment to your Mum at 4am in A and E. It wouldn’t be Wes Streeting. Support NHS resident doctors.

Thursday night at Full Council I was DENIED the opportunity to speak, so I’m going to post my speech on here instead! It’s regrettable I’m having to do this online but, God willing I will continue to #speakup and use my #independentvoice #IWillNotBeSilenced

This really is gaslighting of the highest order. Rachel Reeves claiming to have recruited “2400 more teachers” when the reality is we are 400 teachers down in the state sector. All she has provided to children is a second breakfast and one less blazer. yorkshirepost.co.uk/news/opinion/c…
