Our team are in the Long Gallery at Stormont today to listen to trans and intersex people about their lived experience. As a community we know that trans and intersex people are often the victims of hate crime and this is an important opportunity to hear their voices.

Really depressing to hear Emma Little-Pengelly BL speaking about the threats she's faced online. Online crime and abuse can cause real, serious harm. Those in public life should be able to carry out their role without being threatened or abused.

Sentencing, particularly reduction for so-called early guilty please, is an issue that's raised with our office on a regular basis. Don't miss the chance to have your voice heard! justice-ni.gov.uk/consultations/…

This is such a sad story. No-one deserves to be targeted because of their ethnicity. We hope all victims get the support they need and we all work together to crack down on hate crime in Northern Ireland. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

This makes for grim reading. Anyone facing threats should be able to access appropriate support services as and when they need it. If you're a victim and have any thoughts on how to improve the criminal justice system tell us here cvocni.org/have-your-say
