#TUCVM thanks all the participants of the 2025 Tuskegee Veterinary Scholars Program (TVSP), which ran from May 19-August 1, 2025. Students attended a field trip to Emory Primate Center in Atlanta, GA, which was hosted by Tuskegee veterinary 2006 alum Dr. Ian Moore.

#TUCVM sends condolences to the families of two of our alums who recently passed away: Child star & '93 alum Dr. Danielle Spencer & '71 alum Dr. Gordon (Rick) Robotham. Dr. Spencer was best known for her role as Dee Thomas on the ABC sitcom “What’s Happening.”

The Hill's Pet Nutrition Team held their 1st Lunch & Learn today, Aug. 19 to welcome the new #TUCVM Class of 2029 & welcome everyone else back to the 2025-26 year! TUCVM 2014 alum Dr. Bethany Scott, Academic Affairs Manager – Atlanta, presented on Hill’s Pro Staff Feeding Program.

#TUCVM’s large animal clinicians Dr. Courtney Allred & Dr. Sydni Hampton recently gave a presentation on Equine Emergencies to the community at the Tri-County Horse Riding Club in LaFayette, AL, on Aug. 16.

#TUCVM students interested in becoming peer tutors attended a training session on Aug. 21. Peer Tutoring is offered to enhance our #futureveterinarians' learning experiences & tutors facilitate individual/group sessions to enhance learning & improve scholastic performance.
