Electric post heaters are mainly installed to supplement the heat losses on the MVHR heat exchanger and are mounted on the supply air ducting. For buildings following PassivHaus guidelines and design, it is common to use a post heater on the MVHR supply duct.

Water to air post heater/coolers are mounted on your supply air ducting and connected to the water heating/cooling system. This module can easily supplement the losses on the heat exchanger and still provide some additional heating and cooling to increase comfort in the house.
