The hard truth: This is the price of the FF brand slumping for 20 years. RE had some bad years, but earned back trust. The Souls games were niche, but gained a brand based on quality. The result: Elden Ring. FF needs to keep making GOTY-level bangers to climb back to the top.

I just finished a playthrough of Tales of Symphonia with Sasspancakes & it is such a great game! I feel like there aren't many other couch co-op multiayer RPGs like the Tales games, so the whole experience was super memorable. Tales of Berseria is next!
