Apologize for the lack of results this week, Royal and Old Hararians were the only scorecard we received. Unfortunately this may be deemed to be a pointless venture, as people can’t be bothered to do the most basic thing and send us scoresheets after we have asked numerous times.

We list the top 5 performers after the 1st half of the Vigne Cup has been completed. Quite disturbed to see none of these boys in franchise games this season so far, and players who havent performed, are getting chosen, sends the wrong message. But alas, the list shall follow :

Number 5 : Kuda Munyede (Eagles Squad) Bowling : 13 wickets at an economy of 4.79 Batting : 75 runs at an average of 18.75

Number 4 : Artwell Nyambanje (uncontracted) Bowling : 11 wickets at an economy of 4.30 Batting : 81 runs at an average of 20.75

Number 3 : Brian Mudzinginyama (uncontracted) Bowling : 11 wickets at an economy of 4.24 Batting : 167 runs at an average of 27.83

Number 2 : Brandon Diplock (uncontracted) Bowling : 10 wickets at an economy of 4.43 Batting : 166 runs at an average of 55.33

CONFIRMED - The Vigne Cup resumes this Sunday the 24th of February with all 1st League teams in action.
