This was a really good interview and I’m looking forward to reading this story. P C M C H R I S T comment about genre’s ability to bypass blatant politics is something every RW artist needs to hear. Godzilla Minus One is a great recent example of this and one I always point to.

The erasure of a mid-century Los Angeles has been happening for years now. Makes me sick. Might as well nuke the Neutra and Lautner houses while your at it. Probably happening.

Process for Sammy Harkhams incredible graphic novel “Blood of The Virgin”. Took him 14 years to draw this book. This is the level of autism I aspire to bring to my own comic work.

Contemplating a summer roadtrip with my chef buddy who works for Wolfgang Puck through the midwest and South. He wants to hit up local eateries for research purposes. Might have to make a stop at these events.

The thing with Tarantino is he’s got the flex to walk away from his last movie for not feeling it. Name another A-list director who can do such a thing and anyone cares. I hope he re-visits his Star Trek script.
