Last week, Lamia Moghnieh and Michael Pettit co-organised a workshop on Resilience. Participants from history, anthropology, art, literature and psychology disciplines reflected on the different approaches, critiques and practices of resilience and engaged in mapping the concept.

On the 18th of June, Gabriel Abarca-Brown will participate in a workshop at the Institute for the History of Medicine and Ethics Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and talk about afterlives of radical psychiatry projects developed during the Chilean Road to Socialism (1970-73).

Gabriel Abarca-Brown is in Oslo for the European Conference on Social Medicine. He is going to examine the historical and political aspects involved in the interactions between Evangelical churches, community mental health and migration in Chile. tinyurl.com/489ypac4
