✅ In December 2023 Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel tweeted « The genocide carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people, with the complicity of the US, must stop now. We demand peace for Palestine. »

✅ In June 2024 Cuba joined South Africa’s lawsuit at the International Court of Justice. ✅ Currently 250 Palestinian students are currently training as doctors in Cuba - at no cost to the Palestinian people.

✅ Despite the US blockade maintained against Cuba for 62 years, Cuba continues to speak out. ❌ In the last UN General Assembly vote condemning the blocakde only two countries voted against the resolution - the US and Israel.

Kevin Courtney (@cyclingkev) 's Twitter Profile Photo

PSC Cuba Solidarity The effects of the blockade have been intensified in recent years - since Donald Trump injustly put Cuba on a list of countries that the US says are « state sponsors of terrorism ».

Kevin Courtney (@cyclingkev) 's Twitter Profile Photo

PSC Cuba Solidarity There’s no court where Cuba can appeal this injustice. But it is bearing down - even on the Cuban health service. If you want to help Cuba out - make a donation, big or small small to the Cuba Vive health appeal here: cubavive.org.uk/donate/

Keeping #Cuba on the illegitimate list of states that allegedly sponsor terrorism is not only an indecent and politically motivated measure, but also generates serious economic consequences. 🧵

Contract closures, loss of ties with banks that have worked with Cuba for years, delays in sending and receiving funds, medicines, materials, fuel, spare parts... are just some of the difficulties that Cuba has faced and is facing.

The costs and consequences of this measure for the Cuban economy and people are incalculable. Sign CSC's open letter to the US ambassador to take Cuba #offthelist bit.ly/cubaoffthelist

325 days of criminal Israeli attacks against the population in #Gaza, during which which 40,476 Palestinians have been killed and 93,647 injured. Israel has a clear accomplice in its genocide against #Palestine : the US govt from which it has received 50,000 tons of military aid
