Welding students get the opportunity to tour a local manufacturing company and a welding supply company. Seniors are one term away from graduation and entering the work force. 👨‍🏭👩‍🏭

Your students need to fab a bending jig out of a piece of 8” pipe. I will send a pic on Monday.

Congratulations once again to the second-year Welding students at CTC who all passed their AWS structural steel certification tests before schools were closed.

Four FFA members from the first-year Welding class at CTC participated in the Regional Ag Mechanics CDE held at Walkersville H. S. earlier in March.

Several CTC Welding students have purchased their own welders for use at home. All are anxious to get back to school to clock more practice time.

Welding on cell towers may some day take CTC grads to new heights (like 250 feet high) Thank you Kinsale Management Group for a great visit and tour.

For some welding students, it was an interest in hot metal work that lead them to look into the field of welding. Two have designed and built their own forges. Kudos for their ingenuity!

The extreme heat has not stopped these students from working. When they are not welding they are still developing “ a work ethic” and good employability skills.

Ninety degree temps has not stopped these two Middletown students from using their welding skills at least a few times this summer. (All welds were made safely before these pictures were taken). Keep practicing guys!
