Fibre to merino hoggets. Annual (and in this case, bi annual) ryegrass system plays a huge part in our weaner management program, filling the winter feed gap, then giving us hay and silage options. These guys are stocked at 45dse/ha on rotation, will be in here for about 3 weeks.

Back into the lamb marking trailer for the week. Trying conditions in Sth West Vic at the moment, wet and cold but lambs are presenting well. Also giving the new bud box leadup a workout wet and drying ewes.

Crutching some Willera Merinos ewes post weaning on the Perkinz crutching trailer. Been doing a couple of runs every morning, gives us the opportunity to class out on wrinkle, dag, udders and feet. Not hard work and beats paying a contractor when things are tight.
