Nice figure! Timing is certainly an important factor for optimal performance, but so is quantity and type of macronutrient ingested. Being aware of the symptoms of hypoglycemia is one way to help you personally decide what to eat prior to an exercise bout.

皓月闪烁,星光闪耀,中秋佳节,美满快乐!! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival Y'all!! Hope you can celebrate this holiday with your loved ones over a meal, chatting under the moonlight, and/or with a tasty mooncake (来个五仁叉烧吧!)

So glad to see our paper being recognized by Mesenchymal Cell News! Certainly a collaborative effort with a bulk of the work done by Drs. Matt Prideaux and William Thompson (William Thompson). Looking forward to seeing these cells used more often not only at Indiana Center for Musculoskeletal Health but elsewhere.

Body composition changes using two different weight loss diets: 7.5% carb (left panel) & 45% carb (right panel). These presumably result in insulin differences, yet both seem to result in a similar % weight loss as fat (comparing the overall y-axis values between panels).

Aww thanks! In honor of 35+ years of the AIMM/ASBMR John Haddad Young Investigator meeting, all current and previous YI awardees (some of us are no longer so young 😂) received these lovely pins. #AIMM2022

Very cool work showing under nutrient-limited conditions cells can still undergo glycolysis utilizing uridine. Shown in both cancer cells, primary cells, and in vivo. Wow, Metabolism is fascinating. nature.com/articles/s4225…
