Last night’s Faculty Awards reminded us of the heart of our institution—our extraordinary faculty. It was an evening to celebrate their dedication, scholarship, and the countless ways they shape our students' lives.

Had the pleasure of joining Toro Time Live for the final episode of the season! I sat down with Dr. Lucas and anthropology student Hailey, where we explored the intersection of culture and cuisine, shared our favorite foods, discussed the culture at CSUDH, and much more.

Just toured the new Health, Wellness, and Recreation Center and thrilled to see the incredible progress! It’s coming together beautifully. We can’t wait for our community to experience all it will offer. Exciting times ahead!

Yesterday, our men’s & women’s basketball teams were honored at the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting by our 2nd District Supervisor, Holly J. Mitchell. This honor reflects not only their athletic excellence, but their leadership, resilience, & impact as student-athletes.
