It’s a great day here in Pueblo for bowling at the Southeast Regionals for Special Olympics. These great athletes are knocking pins down all over the place!

Southbound I-25 is now open to Pueblo. Slower speeds are posted; please use caution. Northbound I-25 remains closed for drivers heading between Pueblo and Colorado Springs. Drivers must detour at Exit 101. The recommended route is US 50 to CO 115.

As of RIGHT NOW, both directions of Interstate 25 near Pueblo are open following the train derailment this last Sunday. Thank you to all of our partnering agencies for getting this large scale clean up and investigation done. Thank you Colorado for your patience! #DriveSafe

Thank you Colo Attorney General Phil Weiser for joining Sheriff Lucero to unveil our new Virtual Reality training simulator. We are the first law enforcement agency in Colorado to acquire this VR tool to train deputies on real-life scenarios in a safe, controlled environment. 1/2

It was a great two days here in District 2 as we held our yearly inspections. It was great to see everyone and I appreciate the hard work and dedication to keeping our roads and communities safe here in Southern Colorado.
